Global airline growth slows in Jun-2011; LCC uptick continues

Growth in scheduled airline operations is showing some signs of slowing in Jun-2011, according to the latest statistics from OAG for Jun-2011. LCC growth, however, continued to rise, with LCCs now offering more than one in every five flights offered on a worldwide basis. OAG noted that the LCC sector is a "major influence in sustaining a steady growth trajectory for the global aviation industry."
