Fraport continues growing organically and by acquisition

Premium Analysis

Fraport reported an 8.4% year-on-year rise in revenue for the

six months ended 30-Jun-07. The strong increase in revenue resulted mainly from

earnings achieved under finance leases with Airrail Center Frankfurt. Adjusting

for this special effect, growth in revenue was 2.8%. EBITDA for the period fell

5.3%, due to positive one-time effects in 2006, as well as an 11.1% rise in

operating expenses in 1H07. However, allowing for all extraordinary transactions,

EBITDA rose by 2%. Group profit in the period rose 6.0%.
