flydubai to take off in Jun-09
Upcoming LCC, flydubai, is scheduled to officially take off in Jun-09, with Dubai Airports CEO, Paul Griffiths, confirming the carrier will initially launch operations from Dubai International Airport. flydubai's launch was originally scheduled to coincide with the Phase I opening of the upcoming Jebel Ali Al Maktoum International Airport, but will now transfer operations there once the airport opens in Northern Autumn 2009.
