European traffic rises 4.1pct in May-08, US carriers surge internationally
European airlines reported a 4.1% increase in passenger traffic (RPKs) in May-08 - below the healthy worldwide average increase of 6% in the month - but enough to raise the European average increase for the first five months of 2008 to 3.6%.
