China Southern, Malaysia Airlines and China Eastern shares gain strongly

Analysis

Shares in China Southern, Malaysia Airlines and China Eastern all gained by over 5% yesterday.

Shares in China Southern gained 7.5% with China Eastern shares up 5.2%, bouncing off previous lows. Shares in Malaysia Airlines were also up strongly by 5.7% yesterday.

Malaysia Airlines and KLM signed a preliminary agreement to investigate closer links with each other. The carriers plan to further strengthen their existing relationship which has been in place over the past 11 years. The aim is to offer greater connectivity, better schedules and more choice for their passengers.
