China Southern Airlines Sept passengers 5.01 mln, up 12.7 pct yr-on-yr

Beijing (XFN-ASIA) - China Southern Airlines, the country's
largest carrier, said it carried 5.01 mln passengers in September, up 12.7 pct
year-on-year.
The company carried 42.7 mln passengers in the first nine months, up 15.5 pct year-on-year.
In a statement published on on its website, the company said it carried 639,980 tons of cargo in the first nine months, up 6.2 pct, and 87,680 tons of cargo in September, down 1.0 pct.
Passenger load factor in September was 77.9 pct, up 4.1 percentage points from a year earlier, while the overall load factor was 69.5 pct, up 1.8 percentage points, China Southern said.
