China Southern Airlines July passengers 5.44 mln, up 13.6 pct yr-on-yr

Beijing (XFN-ASIA) - China Southern Airlines, the country's
largest carrier, said it carried 5.44 mln passengers in July, up 13.6 pct year-on-year.
The company carried 31.88 mln passengers in the first seven months up 16 pct year-on-year.
In a statement published on on its website, the company said it carried 473,180 tons of cargo in the first seven months, up 6.6 pct, and 69,700 tons of cargo in July, up 5.8 pct.
Passenger load factor in July was 76.6 pct, up 1.1 percentage point from a year earlier, while the overall load factor was 65.4 pct, up 0.6 percentage point, China Southern said.
