China Eastern-Shanghai Airlines “restructuring” (merger) enters final phase
The China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines "restructuring' plan was passed by a large majority at respective general shareholder meetings of the two companies on 09-Oct-2009. Voting results at the meetings showed overwhelming support - with 99.6% of China Eastern and 96.9% of Shanghai Airlines shareholders being in favour.
