Changi Airports International invests in Indian Airport City developer and project

Singapore's Changi Airport International Pte (CAI) has purchased a 26% stake in Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Ltd (BAPL), which is establishing a USD2.1 billion 'Airport City' in Durgapur. The first phase of the airport city project will require approximately 2,363 acres of land and include an airport, IT Park, logistics hub, township and theme park. The project is expected to take seven years to complete.
