Bangaluru International Airport (BIA) continues to suffer from the global economic downturn, handling 678,573 passengers in Feb-2009, falling 18.5% year-on-year. The airport reported a similar year-on-year fall in passengers in Jan-2009, down 19% during the month, to 727,186 passengers.
