Atlanta Airport plans expansion with another domestic terminal

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport announced it would require a new USD1.8 billion domestic terminal south of the existing airfield with up to 70 additional gates, as well as ticketing and baggage claim areas.

The new terminal would also require reconstruction of the existing roadway access system. The airport expects passenger volumes to reach 86 million in 2005 and 115 million in 2015.
