Asian airline shares mixed on Thursday

Asia Pacific airline shares were mixed yesterday, led lower by China Southern (-4.7%) and higher by Australia's Skywest (+6%).

Korean Air (shares down 0.6%) said it is seeking US Export-Import Bank financing for two B747-8 Freighters and is in the request for proposal (RFP) stage of the process. It is understood that JP Morgan is in the lead for the mandate. The current list price for the B747-8F is USD319 million.
