Aircastle shares slip further; aviation shares jump 6%

Analysis

Aircastle shares continued to decline after the company reported a 35.8% decrease in net profit in 2010 late last week. Shares in the aircraft leasing company were down 2.2% but are up nearly 12% for the year to date.

Elsewhere, shares in Avation PLC were up 5.8%. Last week the company announced it conditionally raised GBP10 million before expenses from a placing of 10 million new ordinary shares at a price of 100 pence per share through WH Ireland Limited, to clients of WH Ireland.
