29-Jul-2010 New Delta Air Lines service from Bradley Airport

Governor M. Jodi Rell today issued the following statement after Delta Air Lines announced two new routes from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks: once-a-week service from Bradley to Las Vegas (beginning October 2) and three daily flights to Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. (beginning October 31).

"These new services are a tremendous addition for Bradley passengers, who will enjoy the convenience - and the cost benefits - of increased competition on these important routes. Las Vegas is always a popular destination any time of the year and Saturday flights are a natural choice for vacationers. And the morning, afternoon and evening service to our nation's capital will be a boon for both business and leisure travelers. Both new routes also help to offset the loss of Delta's Bradley-to-Los Angeles flight, which we continue to hope to restore at some time in the future."
