Air Mauritius gains, Kenya Airways falls


Shares in Air Mauritius surged 4.7% yesterday ahead of its earnings announcement this week.

Bloomberg reports the carrier is expected to report a profit, due to the absence of hedging losses.

Meanwhile airlines in East Africa are experiencing flight delays following a volcanic eruption in Eritrea. Kenya Airways said the eruption had by caused delays in services to London. The airline's shares fell 3.2% yesterday.
