Air Arabia flying high on solid first half growth
Air Arabia crossed a major milestone in 1H08 - handling its 10 millionth passenger after just 57 months of operation. Such has been the Sharjah based carrier's success, that other market participants are preparing their own LCC responses. FlyDubai is one extreme, while Qatar Airways, is reportedly ready to launch an LCC subsidiary "within 90 days", if required.
