Aerospace stocks continue to climb

After showing better strength at the end of last week, aerospace shares were stronger on Monday, with significant share gains at several major manufacturers. Shares in Embraer gained 1.6%, EADS was up 1.7% and Boeing gained 3%, as investors welcomed the news that the company's B747-8I had a successful maiden flight and Korean Air firmed up two B747-8F orders and converted its order for 10 B787-800 to larger B787-900s.

Also up strongly was Chinese aerospace manufacturer AviChina. After following markets down last week, shares in the company have bounced back more than 5% over the past two days of trading.
