CAPA and Oriel to offer a joint aircraft valuations product
02-Mar-2015 Against a backdrop of continued industry optimism, two aviation experts broaden their relationship. CAPA – Centre for Aviation today announced an exciting new development for their relationship with leading aircraft valuations experts Oriel.
The new joint "Oriel VIP" product is an aircraft valuations tool that allows the user to generate aircraft values according to specific profiles all through an easy to use on-‐line portal.
This service is supported by expert advice, information about value movements and industry analysis.
Oriel VIP will be available as an additional function within CAPA’s Air Finance platform that includes airline and leasing company profiles, a fleet data base of over 56,000 commercial aircraft, valuation and lease rate data and fleet analytics.
Oriel has been the sole provider of aircraft valuations and lease rate data to CAPA’s online fleet database since May 2015. This partnership has seen the inclusion of generic market values linked to individual aircraft, current base values and market lease rates within CAPA’s Fleet Database.
Peter Harbison, Executive Chairman, CAPA says: “We are delighted to strengthen and build upon our strong relationship with Oriel. This new joint product will offer our members a vastly improved service at extremely competitive rates”.
Oriel Directors Les Weal and Olga Razzhivina are two of the most respected figures in aviation finance, with over 35 years’ collective experience in aircraft valuations. Les Weal and Olga Razzhivina say “We are extremely excited to bring Oriel VIP to the aircraft finance market under the CAPA Air Finance platform. We are certain that in co-‐operation with CAPA we can offer our clients an enhanced portfolio of data services.”
