With the bounce-back of travel in the region and the high-profile changes to the competitive landscape, the aviation sector in Latin America is one of the most dynamic in the world. While travel demand is generally healthy, the regional economic and political outlooks are much less certain. At the same time, the travel sector is still dealing with its issues with infrastructure, government policy, liberalisation, industry consolidation, airport privatization, and improving operational and financial performance.
As the regional aviation outlook is so delicately balanced, this is an aviation event that is not to be missed. With an array of speakers and panels featuring regional and international aviation leaders, along with key decision-makers and independent experts, the summit will provide unique insight into the major strategic issues impacting aviation in Latin America.
CAPA - Centre for Aviation Director of Events Claudia Kunz, said: "We are delighted to be bringing our Latin America Summit back to the Caribbean in 2024. Trinidad and Tobago is the perfect destination for the entire Latin American and Caribbean aviation community to come together and discuss the most important issues in the region and celebrate the incredible successes, despite a tough few years. Working closely with the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago will ensure an event filled with tantalising content, important networking opportunities, and yes, a little fun too as delegates explore this beautiful country."
Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago General Manager, Mr. Hayden Newton, said: "It is with immense enthusiasm that we welcome the distinguished delegates and esteemed leaders in global aviation, to the warm twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase our beautiful and diverse nation, our unparalleled hospitality and our commitment to aviation excellence. Trinidad and Tobago is open for business and we welcome new airlines and investors to soar with us, as we foster growth and connectivity, and shape the future of air travel in this region and beyond."
