Brisbane Airport FY2012 pax up 5% to 21 million

Australia’s Brisbane Airport reported a 4.6% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to a record 21 million for the 12 months ended 30-Jun-2012. On domestic routes, services between Brisbane and Melbourne Avalon reported the highest load factor while Perth services reported the highest growth in passenger numbers. On international routes, the most popular international destinations were New Zealand, US, Fiji, Thailand and Indonesia, which replaced UK in the top five. Details of the airport’s FY2012 traffic are as follows:
