Lufthansa CFO: 'Our strategic focus is right'
Deutsche Lufthansa AG CFO Simone Menne stated (30-Jul-2015) the company's "strategic focus is right", with the 'Passenger Airline Group' recording a margin of almost 8% in 2Q2015 and SWISS reporting a margin of more than 11%. Germanwings "remains on a successful course" and is expected to record a profit for the first time in 2015. Ms Menne said: "Our strategic focus is right. On the one hand, our premium brands - Lufthansa and SWISS - are very successful, and at the same time Germanwings and Eurowings are also showing good business developments as secondary brands."
