AirAsia Group to add five aircraft in 2015 for deployment in India, Japan and Thailand

AirAsia Group stated (26-Feb-2015) it intends to add fewer aircraft in 2015 and focus on growth from existing resources. The group will take delivery of five aircraft in 2015, which will be deployed in India, Japan and Thailand. The carrier will defer A320ceo deliveries to later dates to take advantage of the fuel efficiency of A320neos, scheduled for delivery from late 2016.
