Virgin Atlantic considering increase of long-haul Heathrow frequencies using Little Red slots

Virgin Atlantic CEO Craig Kreeger stated (05-Nov-2014) the carrier is considering increasing long-haul frequencies from London Heathrow, using three slots made available by the closure of its 'Little Red' UK domestic operation. Virgin will retain three of the 12 slots used for its Little Red services, with Mr Kreeger stating: "The three Manchester are our own and will be returned to us to use on long-haul if we wish. We have not yet made any definitive decision on how we use them." [more - original PR]
