Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport handle 12.9m pax in 2013

Russia's Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport reported (20-Jan-2014) a 15.2% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 12.9 million in 2013. The largest Russian carriers in Dec-2013, Rossiya, Aeroflot, Transaero, S7 Airlines and Ural Airlines transported a combined 535,248 passengers while the top five Russian airlines in 2013, including Aeroflot, Rossiya, Transaero, S7 and UTair, transported a combined 8.0 million passengers, up 16.4%. In Dec-2013, the top five foreign carriers were Lufthansa, Emirates, Uzbekistan Airways, Air Berlin and SWISS while the top five foreign carriers in 2013 were Lufthansa, Emirates, Uzbekistan Airways, Air Berlin and Air France. The overall top airlines at the airport, Rossiya, Aeroflot, Transaero, S7 and Lufthansa transported 540,990 passengers in Dec-2013. Details include:

      • Domestic: 454,749, +23.5%;
      • International: 404,194, +4.7%;
    • Aircraft movements: 10,917, +19.5%;
  • 2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 12.9 million, +15.2%;
      • Domestic: 5.8 million, +16.6%;
      • International: 7.0 million, +14.1%;
