Ryanair to open its 38th and 39th bases at Malaga and Faro in 2010
Ryanair announced (16-Dec-2009) plans to open its 38th base at Malaga in Jun-2010 with four based aircraft and 19 new routes (39 in total). Ryanair will offer 360 weekly flights to/from Malaga. Ryanair's 19 new routes from Malaga to Aarhus, Berlin (Schonefeld), Bratislava, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, Krakow, Maastricht, Memmingen (Munich West), Oslo (Torp), Paris (Beauvais), Pisa, Santander, Santiago, Stockholm (Skavsta), Tampere, Valladolid, Venice (Treviso), Wroclaw and Zaragoza will increase Ryanair's traffic at Malaga to over 2 million passengers p/a. Ryanair also announced plans to open its 39th base at Faro in Mar-2010 with six based aircraft and 14 new routes (28 in total). Ryanair will offer over 200 weekly flights to/from Faro. Ryanair's 14 new routes from Faro to Billund, Birmingham, Derry, Eindhoven, Kerry, Knock, Madrid, Marseille, Maastricht, Milan (Bergamo), Oslo (Rygge), Paris (Beauvais) and Stockholm (Skavsta) will increase Ryanair's traffic at Faro to 1.3 million p/a.
