Rossiya to receive 24 ex-Transaero Airlines aircraft

Rossiya - Russian Airlines will reportedly receive 24 ex-Transaero Airlines aircraft, basing the aircraft at Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport and Moscow Vnukovo Airport (TASS, 03-Dec-2015). As previously reported by CAPA, Aeroflot expects to improve Aeroflot Group operational results in 2016 through inclusion of a regional carrier operating under the Rossiya brand and comprising the Rossiya, Donavia and Orenair airlines, as well as the increased fleet numbers as a result of acquired aircraft following exit from the market of Transaero Airlines.
