Manchester Airport Group airports pax up 9% in Aug-2014

UK's Manchester Airport Group reported (10-Sep-2014) passenger numbers at its airports of Manchester, London Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth, showed strong growth of 8.9% year-on-year in Aug-2014. The four airports combined handled 5.3 million passengers, demonstrating improving consumer confidence as the UK's economy continues to strengthen, according to MAG. Details are as follows:

• Total passengers: 5.3 million, +8.8% year-on-year;
