Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) reports the following international traffic highlights to/from Australia in Nov-2009:

• Passenger numbers: 2.1 million, +9.5% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 67,479 tonnes, +8.3%;
• Flights: 11,402, +5.2%;
• Top five international carriers by market share:
  • Qantas: 19.8%, -4.4 ppts;
  • Singapore Airlines: 10.4%, -1.5 ppt;
  • Jetstar: 8.5%, +2.5 ppts;
  • Emirates: 8.0%, +1.0 ppt;
