Jetstar Asia: bilateral rights are opening up between Southeast Asian countries

Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupati, speaking at the 2014 CAPA Asia Aviation & LCC Summit, stated (13-Oct-2014) bilateral rights are opening up between Southeast Asian countries, and the carrier is reaching out to markets with fifth freedom rights. He also said consolidation will be a two-step process in ASEAN, the first being capacity consolidation. Mr Pasupati, "I am a firm believer you will see lots of capacity reduction happen in many markets such as Thailand and Indonesia."
