Jet Airways CEO, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, resigns to become CEO of bmi

British Midland PLC (bmi) announced the appointment of Wolfgang Prock-Schauer as CEO, succeeding Nigel Turner who will become Deputy Chairman. Mr Prock-Schauer, the outgoing CEO of Jet Airways will be replaced by Nikos Kardassis as Acting CEO. Mr Kardassis is currently Jet Airways' Senior VP The Americas and was formerly CEO of the airline from 1994-1999. Mr Prock-Schauer, an Austrian national, became CEO of Jet Airways in Jun-2003.
