Indonesia AirAsia further delays planned IPO

Indonesia AirAsia further delayed its plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) due to Indonesia's presidential election in Jul-2014, according to AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes (The Jakarta Post, 10-Jun-2014). As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier planned to launch the IPO in 3Q2013 before delaying the launch until 2Q2014. Mr Fernandes said: "We won't make money at the moment. The market has to be stabilised first. We'll see how the market goes after the election."
