Emirates A380 to serve Manchester from Sep-2010

Emirates announced (30-Mar-2010) plans to launch A380 operations to Manchester, which will become the most northerly point on the world's A380 network and the first regional airport to have regular A380 service. The 517-seat A380 will serve Manchester from 01-Sep-2010, replacing B777 aircraft, as the airline marks 20 years of service to the city. Emirates is currently operating eight A380s, serving London Heathrow, Toronto, Paris, Jeddah, Bangkok, Incheon, Sydney and Auckland. [more]
