Brexit to affect Ryanair revenue into FY2018

Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary commented (07-Nov-2016) that the outcome of Brexit will continue to affect the company's revenue into FY2018. Mr O'Leary said the weaker Sterling and slower economic growth is expected in the UK, forcing Ryanair to decrease planned UK growth from 12% to 5% and switch the capacity to accelerate growth in Italy, Germany and Belgium. Mr O'Leary said the airline will continue to adapt to changing circumstances. Ryanair announced plans to open a base at Frankfurt Airport in Mar-2017, as previously reported by CAPA.
