Berlin Airports report 5% increase in Feb-2012 pax traffic, cargo up 7%

Aircraft movements decreased 2.7% to 17,197 and 2566 tonnes of cargo was handled, a 6.5% year-on-year reduction. The growth in cargo volume was primarily due to new long-haul routes (Abu Dhabi and New York) and increased flight frequencies (Miami) as well as the use of larger aircraft (Ulan Bator).
