AirAsia Japan confirms application for AOC, 2016 spring target launch

AirAsia Japan confirmed (31-Jul-2015) the carrier has applied for its air operator's certificate with Japan Civil Aviation Bureau on 21-Jul-2015, and expects to commence domestic and international operations from 2016 spring. The carrier said it would accelerate preparations and commence recruitment as well as training of staff.
