AirAsia Berhad reports (20-Nov-09) the following financial/traffic highlights:

Three months ended 30-Sep-09:

    • Revenue: USD218 million, +4.5% year-on-year;
    • Profit (loss) after tax: USD38 million, compared to a loss of USD139 million in the previous corresponding period;
    • Passenger numbers: 3.6 million, +19%;
    • ASK: +13%;
    • RPK: +10%;
    • Seats load factor: Stable;
    • Unit Cost (per ASK in USD cents): -26%;
  • Thai AirAsia:
    • Revenue: USD58.8 million, -15%;
    • Profit (loss) after tax: (USD12.1 million), compared to a loss of USD7.5 million in the previous corresponding period;
    • Passenger numbers: 1.3 million, +19%;
    • Seats Load factor: 77%, -1.6 ppts;
  • Indonesia AirAsia:
    • Revenue: USD61.9 million, +35%;
    • Profit (loss) after tax: (USD6.1 million), compared to a loss of USD1.2 million in the previous corresponding period;
    • Passenger numbers: 1.0 million, +55%;
    • Seats Load factor: 77%, -1.0 ppts;

    • Revenue: USD647.8 million, +18.1% year-on-year;
