AEA members taking differing approaches to using LCC units to react to the market

Association of European Airlines (AEA) CEO Athar Husain Khan, speaking at CAPA's Airlines in Transition Conference on 25/26-Mar-2015, stated (26-Mar-2015) there is a difference between the ways AEA's member airlines are trying to capture growth in the EU28 states/European periphery and react to changes in the market. Air France-KLM is looking at Transavia as a pan-European style LCC operation. Lufthansa is taking more of a group style approach, using Lufthansa mainline in concert with Germanwings and Eurowings.
