Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport serves the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco State's second city and a major tourism destination on Mexico's Pacific coast. The airport is primarily served by almost all major North American mainline carriers and LCCs, as well as featuring strong domestic connections. The airport receives a majority of its traffic in the summer, due to the large number of seasonal and charter services. The airport is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico.
