About

Namibia flyafrica was a low-cost carrier based at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport. The carrier was a JV between Flyafrica Ltd and local operator; Nomad Aviation. Namibia flyafrica commenced following the launch of Zimbabwe flyafrica in Aug-2014 and formed part of a plan to introduce multiple airlines across Africa operating under the flyafrica.com brand. The LCC operated services to Cape Town, Johannesburg and Lusaka, utilising Boeing 737-500 equipment from Zimbabwe flyafrica. 

In Nov-2015, Namibia's Directorate of Civil Aviation forced Namibia flyafrica to suspend service operations, as the airline is subject to an investigation into wet lease arrangements with Nomad Aviation. Nomad Aviation suspended ties with JV partner flyafrica.com in Dec-2015.
