UK Prime Minister David Cameron stated the airport has no plans to construct a new airport in the Thames Estuary, Medway or Kent to increase capacity from London (UK-Airport-News.info, 02-Nov-2010). Mr Cameron also reaffirmed the government has blocked plans for a third runway at London Heathrow Airport.
