Tiger Airways passenger numbers up 29% in Jan-2011

Tiger Airways reports (10-Feb-2011) the following traffic highlights in Jan-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 553,000, +29% year-on-year;
• Passenger load factor: 84%, -2.0 ppts. [more]

Tiger Airways: "Going forward, we will be growing our Singapore and Australia cubs significantly for the period April to Oct-2011. Year-on-year, Tiger Airways Singapore and Tiger Airways Australia will increase their seat capacity by 41% and 20% respectively, by strengthening their presence on key routes and introducing new destinations," Tony Davis, President and Group CEO.
