Tiger Airways interested in 'standing-only' seating option

Tiger Airways Director, Steve Burns, stated the carrier would consider introducing "standing-only" options (Bernama/Today Online/News.com.au, 03-Jul-2010) Chinese LCC, Spring Airlines, and Ryanair have also spoken about the introduction of "vertical seating" options.

Tiger Airways: "We continue to look at ways of making our operation more efficient so we can offer even lower fares than we do now. Everything we do is about offering the lowest possible fare then allowing our customers to choose what, if any, extras they wish to pay for," Steve Burns, Director.
