SuperJet International signs contract worth USD650m with Mexico's Interjet

Interjet awarded (17-Jan-2011) a contract worth USD650 million to SuperJet International (SJI) - a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica, a Finmeccanica Company, and Sukhoi Holdings - for the purchase of 15 long-range Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft in the 98-seat configuration, plus five options. The first deliveries are scheduled for the 2H2012. With the order, SuperJet International announced a SuperCare agreement with Interjet to provide after-sales support of its fleet of new Superjets for 10 years. [more]
