SriLankan Airlines looking East for future expansion

SriLankan Airlines head of finance Yasantha Dissanayake, speaking at CAPA's Airline Fleet & Finance Summit Asia, said (02-Mar-2015) the carrier is looking East for future expansio, stating: "So many people now come to Sri Lanka as tourists." Mr Dissanayake noted Singapore is a key market and flagged China as an expansion markets. But Russia is more challenging with the carrier's Moscow service being suspended from Mar-2015.
