SpiceJet receives approval for Dhaka, Kathmandu and Maldives services

Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) approved SpiceJet to operate to Dhaka, Kathmandu and the Maldives in Jun-2010, following the completion of five years' domestic service (Live Mint, 13-May-2010). MoCA denied the carrier's proposal to commence operation to Sri Lanka. Details of the approval include daily service to Dhaka and Kathmandu from 01-Jun-2010 and Maldives service in northern winter 2010-11.
