South Korea's int'l passenger numbers up 5.8% in Nov-2011, cargo down
South Korea's Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs reports (20-Dec-2011) the following traffic highlights in Nov-2011:

- International: 3.5 million, +5.8% year-on-year;

- Japan: 954,715, +0.8%;
- China: 732,246, +4.3%;
- Southeast Asia: 1.1 million, +10%;
- Americas: 290,025, +3.6%;
- Europe: 200,396, +6.8%;
- Oceania: 128,217, +18.7%;
- Others: 52,613, +15.1%;
- Domestic: 1.8 million, +7.1%;
- By carrier:
- Korean Air: 660,000, -5.3%;
- Asiana Airlines: 380,000, +2.8%;
- Air Busan: 180,000, +10.5%;
- Eastar Jet: 120,000, -3.1%;
- Jeju Air: 200,000, +24.8%;
- Jin Air: 110,000, -4.5%;
- T'way: 150,000, +197.1%;
- Cargo volume: 291,000 tonnes, -3.0%;
- International: 266,000 tonnes, -4.7%;
- Japan: 38,743 tonnes, -2.8%;
- China: 46,394 tonnes, -8.3%;
- Southeast Asia: 70,159 tonnes, -2.2%;
- Americas: 53,048 tonnes, -6.7%;
- Europe: 49,169 tonnes, -5.0%;
- Oceania: 4576 tonnes, +1.7%;

According to the Ministry, South Korea's full service carriers accounted for 67.2% of total international passengers in Nov-2011, while the nation's LCCs accounted for 5.1% of the total international passenger numbers, up 2.2 ppts. South Korea's LCC accounted for 42.1%, up 5.6 ppts of the total domestic passenger numbers in Nov-2011.
