Soekarno-Hatta Airport to replace radar system in 2011

Indonesia's Government plans to replace Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport's outdated Jakarta Automated Traffic System (JAATS) radar system in 2011 (Tempo Interactive, 16-Sep-2010). The Government will obtain the INR750 billion (USD83.3 million) funding from the State Budget and from PT Angkasa Pura II. The Government will form a special public company to manage the Air Traffic System (ATS) for a single ATS provider.
