Singapore Airlines denies capital injection into Tiger Aviation after SGD28 million loss

Singapore Airlines denied it has injected further capital into Tiger Aviation, but confirmed it has stopped accounting for its share of further losses from the LCC, after Tiger reported a loss of SGD28 million for the 12 months ended 31-Mar-2009 (The Age, 17-Nov-2009). Singapore Airlines' cumulative losses in Tiger have now increased to SGD45 million, after initially injecting SGD39 million in the carrier. Subsidiary, Tiger Airways Australia meanwhile stated it would announce its own financial results "shortly".
