QBE forms US general aviation underwriting group

QBE Insurance announced (04-Feb-2011) the launch of a US general aviation underwriting operation. The division, QBE the Americas, will be based in Atlanta and is part of QBE's plans to expand the company's global aviation activities. The Sydney-based insurer is a major aviation insurance writer in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific.
