Qatar Airways outlines A350 deployment for 2016, operates first A350 service to US

Qatar Airways operated (08-Dec-2015) a ferry flight with an A350-900 from Doha to New York, marking the first A350 service to the US by a commercial airline. The airline currently operates seven A350s to Frankfurt, Munich and Singapore and expects to receive its eighth by the end of 2015. The aircraft will be deployed on Doha-Philadelphia service from 01-Jan-2016. The airline will also deploy A350s to Boston from 16-Mar-2016, New York from 01-Apr-2016 and Adelaide from 02-May-2016.
